Do you have a pet with an inner diva? It’s time to get them gussied up and ready for One Colorado’s Pet Day & Pet Beauty Contest. Register by April 19 for the contest, which will take place April 21 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and feature emcee Charles Phoenix. Start the afternoon off with complimentary pet photos, then get ready for the Beauty Contest, split into the following categories:

For dogs

Fun Furtastic: Enter your pup with the most interesting coat, coloring, marking or hairdos.

Putting on the Dog: Dig out that doggy sweater— this one’s a costume contest.

 Old & New Tricks: Is your pooch a pro at sitting, lying down, shaking, speaking and more? This is the category for you.

For all other pets

Noah’s Ark: This is your chance to dress up your cat, bunny, iguana, bird or any other pet you might have.

Best in Show: The cream of the crop. Top contenders from all the previous categories are eligible to compete.
